Loisaba is situated in a 150 sq km (58 sq m) private wildlife conservancy on the edge of the Laikipia Plateau. The Lodge is constructed from stone, cedar and thatch and is perched high on the edge of the plateau looking south towards Mount Kenya.
Each of the seven rooms has large French windows that open onto a private cantilevered deck. The views are legendary and the waterhole, 1000 ft (305 m) below, draws constant wildlife. All the furniture in the Lodge is handmade at Loisaba. A tennis court and swimming pool are available for guests' convenience.
Guests at Loisaba also have exclusive access to a five-passenger Squirrel helicopter on a private charter basis. A number of breathtaking excursions from Loisaba can be tailormade in conjunction with the pilot who will also serve as guide and host.
