Lake Manyara Serena Lodge is located at the edge of the Mto Wa Mbu escarpment, overlooking the Great Rift Valley and wide expanse of the Manyara soda lake.

The area’s abundant birdlife inspired the design of Lake Manyara Serena Lodge – swooping curves are complemented by soft, geometric patterns and striking murals depict bird migration patterns. The circular shape of the buildings is a tribute to the indigenous architectural traditions.

Each of the 67 spacious rooms has an en suite bathroom with shower and a private veranda with spectacular view of Lake Manyara. The Lodge’s main area includes a dining room with indoor and outdoor seating, bar, lounge, curio shop and a small meeting room. An outdoor swimming pool is available for guests to relax in after a day on safari.

The Lodge has four land cruisers that descend into Lake Manyara National Park at three scheduled times daily. The Lodge also offers complimentary guided bird walks daily which are led by the resident naturalist. Every evening after dinner, guests may choose to have their coffee or drinks around the campfire.
