Thorntree River Lodge offers exclusivity in an unspoilt setting, envied by many but experienced by few. The lodge caters for the whole family, although children under 12 are accommodated only on request. The entire complex has been constructed using natural materials, with indigenous wood and thatching providing shade and the unmistakable feel of a true safari camp.
Nxamaseri Lodge was born in the early 80's making it one of the oldest camps in the delta. This exclusive luxury lodge is secluded in a thick canopy of trees on an island in the waterways of the panhandle of the Okavango. Nxamaseri has always been a bird-watcher's paradise offering up to 350 different species of birds. For avid fly-fishermen Nxamaseri is a must as it is the top fly-fishing destination in Botswana.

Day 1-2:
Thorntree Lodge, Livingstone Zambia. Spend two nights at Thorntree River Lodge on the banks of the Zambezi River. Two lodge activities per day are included and a variety of optional activities in the area to choose from. Overnight in twin bedded chalets. Each unit has been constructed using natural materials with indigenous woods and thatching providing cooling shade. You will have your own private veranda with unlimited views of the passing Zambezi with all its hippos and crocs to go with it. Each stone, thatched chalet has a separate bathroom leading out into your own warm, outdoor shower under the stars.
Day 3-5:
Nxamaseri Lodge, Okavango Delta Botswana.Transfer to Livingstone Airport for your flight to the Okavango Delta, where you will spend the next 3 nights at Nxamaseri Lodge. There are a variety of activities on offer. It is a birdwatchers paradise, and remains Botswana’s premier fly-fishing destination. Traveling by traditional dug out canoe is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon and to experience the quiet tranquility of the Okavango. It is also one of the most effective ways for serious birders to view species up close.
Day 6: Departure. You departure time will determine your early morning activity. Return flight to Kasane in time to connect with your international flight. |
