Harbour Square Kitchen Bar services the Hotel with breakfast as well as room service.

Harbour Square is an up marketed ,stylish restaurant that offers good food and reasonable prices. The colour scheme is a mix of white, red and black and a fun goldfish print.

The combination of the open plan kitchen, mobelli couches sprawling out onto the historic square and the baby grand piano gives the patrons clues that this restaurant has relaxed comfort with a touch of luxury-and is poised to offer value in all sorts of ways.

Quarters Hermanus has two private conference venues which can cater for up to 45 delegates. The hotel is one of the few hotels in town to offer modern conference and banquet facilities. 

Our largest venue leads off reception with a smaller ante-room adjacent to the main conference room.

    an approximately 90 minute journey.
  • 22km from Stanford to Hermanus
  • 47 km from Gansbaai to Hermanus
  • 21 km from Kleinmond to Hermanus

From Cape Town International Airport

  • Take N2 towards Somerset West
  • Continue on the N2 through Somerset West and over Sir Lowry's Pass
  • Continue for 47 km onto Botriver
  • Take Hermanus off ramp to left
  • Continue driving for 44 km into Hermanus Town centre
  • At Shell Garage turn right
  • Turn left into Marine Drive
  • Proceed 500m the road will take a bend.
  • Hotel is on right hand side

From Cape Town

  • Take N2 to towards Somerset West
  • Take the R300 off ramp and continue to the N2 Somerset West turn off to the left
  • Continue on the N2 towards Somerset West onto Sir Lowry's Pass
  • Continue over the Sir Lowry's onto the Botriver Hermanus Turn off
  • Continue for another 44 km into Hermanus Town centre
  • At Shell Garage turn right
  • Turn left into Marine Drive Proceed 500m the road will take a bend.
  • Hotel is on right hand side

Hermanus is known for being the best place in the world to do land based whale watching. With a 12 kilometer stretch of cliff paths, visitors can enjoy the scenic beauty of the village,while being entertained by the antics of these giants of the sea. Southern Right Whales can be spotted on the South African coastline from June to early December. Boat excursions can be arrange for a unforgettable adventure.

Fernkloof Nature Reserve covers 1800 ha in the Kleinrivier Mountains above Hermanus and The reserve protects coastal and fynbos and a small patch of evergreen forest. The reserve lies on the northern side of Hermanus with a 60 km network of trails.

 

The old Harbour is situated at the door step of the Hotel, a truly amazing historic site founded in 1904.
