Wonderful Okavango Delta
Game-drives & motorboat excursions
Camp Okuti is situated in the Moremi Wildlife Reserve in the remote north-eastern Okavango Delta. Shaded by large trees at the edge of the Xakanaxa Lagoon, the Camp is within close range of shallow flood plains, papyrus swamps and dense riverine forest.
Accommodation for 20 guests is in rustic, thatched chalets with en suite bathrooms. The main area is under thatch and consists of a lounge, dining room and bar area.
Camp Okuti's safaris are all conducted by professional guides in open safari vehicles in the Moremi Wildlife Reserve where most of Africa's large mammals may be found. Alternatively, excursions by motorboat afford the opportunity to explore the upper Delta, where, during breeding season, flocks of herons may be seen at their nesting and breeding sites. Hippos, crocodiles and other small water-dwelling animals are abundant in these areas and are easily visible from the motorboat.
In the evening, you can relax by the campfire after dinner and enjoy discussing the day's events with other guests.
