Situated in Durban's suburb of Berea, Ridgeview Lodge assures guests of a high standard of service, unashamed luxury, supreme comfort and warm hospitality – that ‘home from home’ feeling.

For guests’ exclusive use there is a lounge, dining room, veranda, air-conditioned pub with spectacular views of Durban and the Indian Ocean and a swimming pool set in landscaped lush sub-tropical gardens. All seven double/twin (3 double/4 twin) en suite bedrooms are designer decorated, air-conditioned and appointed with TV plus satellite, radio/alarm, direct dial telephone with e-mail connections, hair-dryer, bath robes, safety deposit box, tea/coffee facilities with biscuits, fresh fruit and iced water.

Laundry and valet services are also offered and a full English or Continental breakfast may be enjoyed daily.

ACCOMMODATION:
All seven bedrooms (4 twin/3 double) are individually designer decorated. The list of appointments is extensive with each room having remote air conditioner, direct dial telephone and e-mail connection, hair dryer, bath robes, safe for valuables, remote control television (including M-Net and satellite), radio/alarm clock, tea/coffee facilities with biscuits, fresh fruit and flowers. All bedrooms are en suite with either bath or shower. The seven stylishly decorated en-suite bedrooms are fully carpeted. Gowns, iced water, tea/coffee with biscuits plus fresh fruit will help to make your stay a more pleasurable one. All rooms are strictly non-smoking.

LOCATION:
Ridgeview Lodge is ideally situated high on Durban's Berea in a quiet residential area and yet within easy reach of the beaches (6km), city centre (4km) and Durban International Airport (14km), the International Convention Centre (5km), Kings Park sports stadiums and other tourist attractions. Being close to the intersection of the N3 and N2 North and N2 South highways, Ridgeview can be used as a base from which to visit the Northern kwaZulu Natal game parks, the Battlefields and the Drakensberg Mountains. Loudoun Road can be found opposite Entabeni Hospital at one of the highest points in South Ridge Road on Durban's Berea.

FACILITIES:
A comfortable lounge and separate air conditioned pub, both with splendid views, are exclusively for guest use.
The private pool is set in a lush sub tropical garden and the open parking is secure as the entire property is fenced and has electric gates (guests are provided with a remote gate opener).
Limited lockup garage parking is also available on request. Laundry and valet services are provided.

MEALS:
Included in the tariff is a choice of English & Continental breakfast served in the sunny 'Bunnykin' breakfast room together with a complementary morning newspaper.
