DAY 1 SABUK, Laikipia

Transfer to Wilson Airport for the 09h15 Air Kenya scheduled flight to Nanyuki. Here you will connect with a private charter from Nanyuki – Sabuk. You will be met on arrival and transferred to the lodge on the way taking in the beautiful views and arriving at the lodge in time for lunch.  

DAY 2 SABUK

Trekking with the Laikipiak Maasai, your professional guide will organise fly camping, camel safaris and walking amongst big game and shaded rest in the cool of the riverine forests.
 
DAY 3 SABUK – Optional fly camp recommended 1 night
 
DAY 4 ELSA’S KOPJE, Meru National Park

At 10h00 your private charter will fly you from Sabuk to Meru where you will be met and transferred to the lodge.
 
DAY 5 & 6 ELSA’S KOPJE

Here visitors will see a more diverse range of species than in any other Park or Reserve. Regular sightings include Beisa Oryx, Gerenuk, Elephant, Grevy’s Zebra, Reticulated Giraffe, Lesser Kudu, Grant’s Gazelle, Leopard, Lion, Cheetah, Rhino and the rare, elusive Greater Kudu. Meru is famous for its bird life, including riverine and forest species as well as the arid dry country species.

Other attractions include bush breakfasts and sundowners and visits to the Tharaka tribal village on the Southern Boundary of the Park.
 
DAY 7 ELEPHANT PEPPER CAMP, Masai Mara

At 08h30 you will depart Meru on your private charter to Nanyuki, in time to catch the Air Kenya scheduled flight to the Masai Mara at 10h00. You will be met at the airstrip and transferred to camp with game viewing en route
 
DAY 8 & 9 ELEPHANT PEPPER CAMP

This is an original bush camp, eco-friendly, committed to finding a way of life that does not harm the wilderness, revenue from the camp goes back to the local community. Elephant Pepper Camp is put up for the season and then packed away to leave no trace behind. The homely atmosphere of this camp is part of its charm. Clients can relax with nature, no generators, no vehicles passing, no permanent structures jarring the skyline, just the sights and sounds of the bush which completely surround you.
 
DAY 10 DEPARTURE

After a last game drive in the Masai Mara, you will connect with the 11h00 Air Kenya flight back to Nairobi. A Cheli & Peacock driver will transfer you to your Nairobi hotel or to the International airport for your journey home.
