The Resort offers 92 Rooms in three categories: Standard, Superior and Deluxe. All accommodation is spacious and comfortable, offering a choice of contemporary rooms or thatched bungalows. EAGLES ROOST
160 seater restaurant provides delicious meals, buffet style and incorporates a welcoming fireplace for those cold winter nights.
THE BISTRO
Catering for light meals including Pizza. The Terrace has spectacular views of the mountain and Rhino Horn Peak.
WILD CAT BAR
Enjoy a game of pool, darts or table tennis. Catch the “BIG” games on the large screen TV, or just enjoy the great atmosphere!
BUCK N TROUT BAR
Elegant bar area with seating for at least 50 people. This bar leads onto the terrace, ideal for sundowners and spectacular views of the mountain.
THE BERGVIEW RESTAURANT AND BAR
40 seater a-la carte restaurant situated at the hotel pool. Cosy dining atmosphere with the fire in winter, and with the al-fresco terrace in summer.
GLENGARRY GOLF CLUB RESTAURANT AND BAR
Open for breakfast and lunch. 50 seater indoor restaurant and magnificent al fresco deck overlooking the trout dam and spectacular views of Rhino Horn Peak. Fire place in the bar area for those cosy ‘Berg days! |
Conference / Function Venues
Located in the heart of the Southern Drakensberg, Drakensberg Gardens Golf & Leisure Resort is nestled in a tranquil valley surrounded by rolling hills and crisp mountain air. The resort offers spacious accommodation and a choice of 2 conference / function venues, the largest of which seats 200 delegates.
THE MASHAI ROOM
This venue seats up to 60 cinema style and is situated against the mountain with an exterior patio, ideal for conference breaks. This room can also be divided into two smaller venues.
THE RHINO ROOM
This venue seats up to 200 cinema style and 120 for gala dinner seating. The option of dividing this room into two smaller venues is also possible. This venue is situated at the magnificent pool area and bowling green. The verandah has magnificent mountain views.

Glengarry Golf Club
Enjoy a game of golf at The Glengarry Country Club, which is the only 18-hole golf course in Southern Berg and overlooks the picturesque Lake KwaNyoni and the famous Rhino Horn peak as a backdrop.
We now have a Resident Golf Pro, Angie Milroy, who is available for lessons and to assist with any planning for golf events and getaways!
The first and the eighteenth holes are flanked by our trout dam, which is always well stocked! Breakfast and light lunches are served in the Restaurant, on the terrace or in the cozy Glengarry Bar.
For the less adventurous, there is also a 9 hole pitch and putt
and a 27 hole putt-putt course. |
