Packages at Motswari Private Game Reserve
   Fly-in Safaris
South African Express Airways offers fly-in safaris to the lodge for stays of 1 to 3 nights (we recommend a 3 night stay).  There are daily scheduled flights from Johannesburg International to Hoedspruits' Eastgate Airport.  We can arrange individual and group charters with private charter companies on request. Motswari also has its own private landing strip for those who wish to charter aircraft directly into the reserve.

   Conferences and Incentives

Motswari is well equipped to cater for conference and incentive groups.  Our fully equipped, air-conditioned conference room comfortably accommodates up to 30 delegates.

We will gladly design itineraries for groups, ensuring optimum productivity in a relaxed & peaceful setting.  Equipment available for conferencing includes TV & VCR, Slide & Overhead Projectors, Flip Charts, Panaboard and White Boards.
Optional Activities (Book at Reception)

   Microlight Flights
Sunrise flips available from Motswari airstrip - soar with the eagles and experience the magic of the bushveld from the air.

   Elephant Back Safaris
This dreamlike adventure offers magical moments as well as the opportunity to come in close contact with wildlife. Meet Jabulani, the elephant that was rescued as a baby, and the twelve trained elephants that were brought down from Zimbabwe together with their grooms, as the invasion of farms by war veterans had placed their future in jeopardy. The love and respect shown these elephants are obvious - and this affection is returned. The elephants seem to enjoy the ride as much as you will! Your elephant back safari of approximately an hour and twenty minutes will also include a talk about elephant behaviour beforehand and refreshments afterwards.

   Township Tours
This half-day tour offers a unique opportunity to get a glimpse into the lives of the people in the nearby community of Rooiboklaagte and the village of Acornhoek. The tour begins at Mapusha Weavers - a women's empowerment project started in 1973. At first the Catholic Mission of Acornhoek marketed and sold their products, but today the women market and sell their hand-woven rugs and tapestries on their own. On the Community Walk you will meet some of the other residents of the area - from preschool teachers to prosperous "shebeen queens". Enjoy a traditional meal before returning to Mapusha and a musical farewell.
