All About Charlie

Our new northern mobile camp offers fabulous - and affordable - 5 night/6 day set departure safaris in the Serengeti National Park & Loliondo private concession area.

Charlie is the ultimate way to do a safari in 2009. It offers a rare chance for roving adventure and true mobility; something that is found less and less these days. And now Charlie comes at a truly affordable cost with our new 5 night/6 day set departure safaris.

The camp is managed by a dedicated crew of safari professionals, who pack it up, whisk it off to a new location and set it up ready for your arrival, just in time for a sun downer before dinner. Charlie is lightweight and flexible - it's 4 walk-in tents with comfortable beds, safari bucket showers and long-drop toilets.

What's so special about a Charlie safari? it offers you the best of the Serengeti eco-system. Your stay in the Serengeti gives you the chance to drive out into the midst of the spectacular migration; big game and big landscapes, whilst being in the private Loliondo area lets you see things from a totally and very different viewpoint: get out of the car and walk, learning about the littler things on safari; do night drives; and enjoy the freedom of this amazing area. The combination of the two locations wraps up the Serengeti eco-system into one sensational safari experience.
