Nomad Tanzania's mobile tented safaris are the perfect way to enjoy a real bush experience. It's how safaris used to be, and yet few are nowadays. A mobile safari offers a rare chance for roving adventure and true mobility, with the freedom to pack up and move whenever you want.
And each evening you will be welcomed by the same familiar faces of the camp crew, who are on hand to pack up the camp and whisk it on to the next location, all the while providing the best comfort, meals and service at every stop. Our mobile camps are booked on an exclusive basis only, for a family or group of friends, of up to 8 or 12 people depending on the type of camp.

Traditional Mobile Safaris
Our Traditional Mobile Camp (TMC) is a totally private and exclusive camp, accomodating up to 12 people, with large walk-in tents with dressing area, private en-suite bathroom (short drop toilet, bucket shower and wash stand). There is a separate dining/mess tent, and fully equipped and well-stocked bar. This camp reflects the style and luxury of our Serengeti Safari Camp. |

Wilderness Mobile Safaris
Our Wilderness Mobile Camp (WMC) has been designed primarily as a base for safari exploring, and has an strong emphasis on walking safaris (in areas where this is allowed), as well as game drives. The camp, for a maximum of 8 people, is light and simple, yet perfectly comfortable with all that you might need. There are 4 small but well-equipped walk-in tents, with two cot beds, and a bathroom tent attached to the rear with short drop toilet and bucket shower. There is a separate dining tent with fully stocked bar, and staff on hand. |
