Cremorne Estate is situated on the banks of the awesome Umzimvubu River on the Wild Coast of southern Africa, an area legendary for its unspoilt beauty and rich plant and animal life. Cremorne Estate was built by Captain Sidney Turner in the late 1800's, and along with the town of Port St Johns, the Estate is linked to important maritime events of days gone by...

At Cremorne we offer good old-fashioned Wild Coast hospitality with personal service. Eight of the 22 cosy log cabins can be used as self-catering units. All rooms are on stilts to take advantage of the view over the sweeping lawns that run down to the mighty Umzimvubu, South Africa's third largest river.

At Cremorne Estate we offer 3 distinctly different accommodation options:
For a little bit of Wild Coast hospitality, we offer Bed and Breakfast in our cosy Timber Cabins with en-suite facilities. For the “Do It Yourself” holiday maker there are our fully equipped and serviced luxury Self Catering Cottages at prices to suit your pocket. For the Outdoor Type, our Caravan and Camping Sites are fully serviced with water and electricity.

Breakfasts, lunches and dinners can be enjoyed on the raised wooden sundeck with views all the way to the breaking surf, or in the newly renovated restaurant.

Get away from the hustle and bustle of city life, enjoy nature at its best. Relax by the sparkling pool or take a scenic walk whilst bird watching. A sunset cruise on the river helps to release the stress or for the more adventurous, visit some of the nearby sites of interest. Fishing is rated amongst the finest in southern Africa.
