About Malawi

Accommodation in double or twin bedded reed huts. The Chembe Lodge is situated ont he shores of Lake Malawi. Tours depart on Sundays and return following Sunday. Prices are half board. US$20.00 departure tax is required.

The 'Warm Heart of Africa' as it is known, is exactly that - the locals are extremely friendly and hospitable. A simple, but most relaxing and ejoyable time can be spent in Malawi.

Life in Malawi exists around the Lake, which takes up almost half of the country. The shores along the Lake make for some of the most idyllic settings. The sparkling blue water, with hundreds of tropical fish unique to it, where hours can be spent snorkeling in the warm, fresh water.

Fishing can be done from the sandy shores, or try your hand at windsurfing, water-skiing or even do a night scuba dive.

Isolated one/two day excursions can be undertaken into the interior of the country.
