Tropical Dive Safari

Day 1:

Depart from Johannesburg to Mpumalanga, visit Pilgrim's Rest, Bourkes Luck Pot Holes, God's Window and other spectacular sights in the area.

Day 2:

Early departure down the escarpment takes us into the Lowveld and the world famous Kruger National Park. We arrive at our campsite around lunch time. After setting up camp and freshening up we go on a game drive.

Day 3:

At sunrise we head out on a game drive returning for brunch, after which we break-up camp to move on to our next point.

Day 4:

Via Crocodile Bridge and traversing Swaziland we arrive at Sodwana Bay, where we stay in comfortable chalets. Evening spent enjoying a meal prepared in our unique way around the campfire and discussing the dives ahead.

Day 5:

We leave early for the beach where our dive masters brief us before setting off on a stunning tropical coral reef dive. A light finger lunch awaits our return. We relax on the beach and prepare for our next dive. After a tiring, yet enjoyable day diving, we return to the chalets for sundowners and dinner.

Day 6:

We spend the morning on a dive, after which we depart to False Bay, part of the great St. Lucia Estuary, once again accommodation in chalets. The afternoon is spent at own leisure.

Day 7:

We start out early to spend the day visiting the Umfolozi/Hluhluwe Game Reserves. We return to our chalets for dinner and a peace and quite only Africa can offer.

Day 8:

After breakfast we drive south, through the huge Zululand sugar cane fields and onto the bustling city of Durban. Lunch is enjoyed at a local restaurant and a few hours can be spent wandering around the city, or relaxing on the beach. A late afternoon drive takes us down the coast and on to Umkomaas where we book into our dive camp. Once again dinner is enjoyed around the campfire, with some discussion on the dives ahead.

Day 9:

The day is spent on the beach with an early launch followed by brunch - a second dive can be done before returning to camp.
