ITINERARY:
Day 1 - (Daily departures) Depart Johannesburg on Air Tanzania flight to Dar es Salaam. On arrival you will be met and transferred to the Dar es Salaam Holiday Inn. Overnight here on a bed and breakfast basis.
Day 2 - 4 - Transfer to the airport for your Coastal Air flight to Rufiji River Camp, Selous. Spend 3 nights at the camp including all meals and two game activities per day. Activities include game drives in open landrovers, boat safaris on the Rufiji River and walking safaris conducted by an experienced guide and armed ranger. For those keen, there is also the opportunity to do some fishing.
Day 5 - 7 - Coastal Air flight from Selous back to Dar es Salaam. On arrival you will be met and transferred to Lazy Lagoon Island. Spend 3 nights here including all meals, kayaking, windsurfing, sailing and snorkelling. Dhow trips, historical excursions around Bagamoyo, scuba diving and deep sea fishing can be arranged and quoted separately.
Day 8 - Transfer back to the mainland and Dar es Salaam. Overnight at the Dar es Salaam Holiday Inn on a bed and breakfast basis.
Day 9 - Early morning transfer to Dar es Salaam airport for your Air Tanzania flight to Johannesburg.
